RECYCLABILITY STUDY
The recyclability study shows that the SUMBOX
are easily and effectively recyclable with existing, standardized means and processes.
Study conducted by LEITAT TEHCNOLOGICAL CENTER,
November 2020.
LIFE CYCLE ANALYSIS
This comparison of the environmental impact of SUMBOX boxes compared to Expanded Polystyrene boxes shows how the impact of SUMBOX is much lower in each and every one of the variables analyzed.
Study conducted by LEITAT TEHCNOLOGICAL CENTER based on ISO 14040 and ISO 14044 standards, January 2021.

Temperature graphs
In these graphs we can observe the behavior of the SUMBOX boxes from different temperature measurements (internal and in some cases external).
SUMBOX with ice left at room temperature. As we can see, the box withstood 37 hours with the inside temperature below 3ºC, being exposed to an outside temperature of 20ºC on average.
SUMBOX box with ice left in a cold room. In this case, the box was left in a positive cold chamber. The test ended after 4 days, although the box still contained abudant ice inside. The peaks in the outside temperature curve show punctual moments of chamber rupture, when opening and closing the entrance door.
SUMBOX box with frozen shrimp and dry ice shipped from Jakarta to Amsterdam by air. Despite a prolonged test start of several hours with an extended break in the cold chain, the crate managed to keep the goods at the right temperature throughout the entire journey.
SUMBOX box into which the product was introduced on August 10 in the afternoon at a factory near Santiago de Chile, where it was transported by truck to the airport, from where it departed the following day. It arrived in London on August 13, and from there it was shipped by truck to the Distributor's warehouse, finally arriving at its destination, a city 4 hours from London, on August 15. Total time: 5 days and 18 hours.
*The peak shown in the graph corresponds to the opening of the box by customs to inspect its contents.
