Its resistance to the melting point of ice compared to Porex is 15% lower under the same conditions.

We have tested in extreme situations with Porex and SUMBOX. In a Porex box at 30°C or more outside, the ice starts to melt after 100 minutes and the process will continue depending on the outside temperature conditions. Under the same extreme conditions, the ice in a SUMBOX begins to melt after 85 minutes.

In refrigerated transports, the product will arrive at destination in the same conditions in a Porex box as in a SUMBOX.

Anticipating probable measures under study by the EU Health and Environmental Authorities, restricting the use of Porex, due to its condition as a non-recyclable product, and difficult to dispose of, which also represents an added cost, apart from the important environmental considerations.
